The Department of general Science has come into existence since the inception of the Institute. The Department has good infrastructure with a spacious working area, consisting of Laboratories, HOD’s Cabin, Staff Rooms, Computing facility.The department has well qualified, dedicated and self motivated faculty members and the supporting staff.

The staff members have very good interaction with students and involve themselves in the welfare of the students. This ensures good academic performance of the students. The Department has been getting excellent results both in theory and practical examinations. Short Term Goal: To impart quality education in basic science. and to get consistent excellent results in examination. Long Term Goal: To expand the Basic Science support to all technical branches.
